Word Express aims to

  • Create a platform for intercultural dialogue through literary exchange in the region of South Eastern Europe
  • E xtend the work of the Literature Across Frontiers (LAF) network into the region through cooperation among local organisations and existing LAF resources and contacts. To create an informal network of literary organisations, magazines, publishers and individuals in the region to prepare the way for ongoing cooperation.
  • Create opportunities for the translation and publication of literary work by younger authors, and for literary translation and editing skills development
